Instructions

  1. 1

Remove both plastic duct covers from either end of the Jetta's bumper by pressing underneath the two tabs that attach the covers to the front bumper.

  2. 2

Open the Jetta's hood and pull at either end of the grille to release the tabs. Release the centre tab below the Volkswagen emblem in the centre of the grille by pushing the tab in with a screwdriver. Let the grille hang by the hood latch.

Turn the Jetta's front wheels to the right. Remove the four screws from the driver's side bumper liner by turning them counterclockwise with a screwdriver.

  4. 4

Turn the front wheels to the left. Remove the four screws from the passenger's side bumper liner by turning them counterclockwise with a screwdriver.

  5. 5

Remove each screw at the top of the area where the Jetta's plastic dust covers were.

  6. 6

Remove the five screws that are exposed underneath the Jetta's grille. Pull out both plugs at either end of the front bumper.

  7. 7

Slide the front bumper off the Jetta.
