Nagios is an enterprise network monitoring software suite that allows administrators to monitor and analyse their network's activity and performance. Nagios natively supports routers that make use of the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). This means that you can simply provide the IP address and authentication information of the SNMP devices and Nagios will automatically configure itself to work with the router.
