Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows the transmission of electronic data over a short distance. The iPhone is compatible with the Bluetooth hands-free profile. Using this profile, you can make and receive hands-free telephone calls using your iPhone. The first time you use the Bluetooth hands-free device with your iPhone, you will need to pair the devices. Pairing is the set-up process that allows Bluetooth devices to recognise and communicate with each other.
