A chibi character is a short and generally cute animation character in anime. Use anime characters as avatars to represent yourself in virtual reality games, Web forums, websites and instant messaging clients. Various online avatar creators let you make chibi characters of your choice, which you can then use on any platform of your choice.

Skill level:
Moderately Easy

  1. 1

    Click "Start," "Internet Explorer."

  2. 2

Use the Otaku Avatar Maker website to create a dummy avatar on the top left corner of the page with a number of tabs labelled as "Back," "Hairstyle," "Eyebrows," "Eyes" and "Mouth," and several accessorising options, such as "Hair Ornaments," "Glasses," "Makeup" and more. Click each tab and click the option of your choice to make your avatar look how you want it to. The website applies each item you choose from the library tabs to the dummy avatar. Once you've created the avatar of your choice, click the "Download" button and save it on your computer.

  3. 3

Use the Dream Avatar website. When the website opens, click your avatar's gender. Then, click respective tabs from the page menu, such as "Hair," "Eyes," "Mouth," "Items" and "Outfit." Click the option that suits your chibi avatar the best. You can also specify different colours on each library from the palette for hair, eyes, mouth and clothes. Click "Save Avatar" when you're finished.

  4. 4

Use the Manga website. You will find tabs with respective icons for hair, eyes, mouth, hats, accessories and more. Clicking each tab opens the respective library from which you can select the features you like. You can click to place different outfits and accessories on your chibi avatar. If you don't like a particular item, you can select any other to replace it. Click "Share/Save" when you're done.
