Websense is a security software that allows you to restrict access to the Internet. Schools and businesses can use the software to restrict access to certain categories of websites chosen by the organisation. If you need to unblock a website that Websense automatically added to a blocked category, you can recategorize the website so that it does not get blocked. You can unblock websites by following a few simple steps.

    Open Websense. Click the "+" next to "Custom URLs/Not Filtered" to open the custom URL editor. Choose the unfiltered category that you want to use for the URL you wish to unblock.

    Click "Add" and enter the full URL address of the website. Press "Enter" to add more sites if needed and click "OK" when finished.

  3. 3

    Click "Save Changes" to unblock the website.
