A Sunbeam Heating Blanket is an electrical heating product that keeps you warm on cool days. All heating products under the Sunbeam brand have a two-year limited warranty. If a Sunbeam Heating Blanket that is not getting very warm, this may be because the blanket is laid out flat, the blanket is broken or the Electronic Digital Control on the blanket is flashing "FF."
Test to see if your heating blanket operates properly by folding it three times. Ensure that the module is connected to the control cord and plug the power cord into a power outlet.
Turn on the heating product, set the control to its highest setting and wait five or so minutes. Put your hand between the folds to see if your blanket is warming up. If it does not, unplug the power cord.The blanket is damaged and will need to be serviced.
Follow the instructions on your flag tag to reset the control if "FF" is displayed on the Electronic Digital Control. Check the blanket visually for damage and unplug the system from the outlet on the wall if there is no visual damage. Make sure that the control is securely connected to the module and plug the power cord into the outlet on the wall. Set your control to "On" and if the blanket still does not work after two to three tries, unplug the power cord and call the Customer Care department at Sunbeam.
