How to use PayPal unverified

Updated July 20, 2017

PayPal has two main levels of security with its accounts: "Unverified" and "Verified." Verified accounts are more secure accounts, as the company has verified your existence as a legitimate PayPal user. You can still use PayPal as an unverified user but there are limits. As of December 2010, an unverified user can only send or receive £325 a month before PayPal blocks further use of the account for the month. You have the ability to check how close you are coming to your limit.

Log in to your PayPal account. Click "My Account." Click "View Limits." This will display the limits left within your account.

Send money with PayPal. Click the "PayPal" logo to return home. Click "Send Money." Enter the recipient's e-mail address. Enter the amount you want to send. Choose either "Purchase" or "Personal." Depending on what the item is. Click "Continue." Click "Send Money."

Withdraw money with PayPal. Click the "PayPal" logo then click "Withdraw." Click "Transfer to Bank Account." Enter the money you wish to withdraw and click "Continue." Click "Submit."
