Garmin GPS navigation devices come loaded with thousands of points of interest along the routes you travel. Each of these Garmin POIs, specifically titled ".gpi" files, usually can be edited to add information about each or to erase them entirely. Just download the company's POI Loader software, which will also verbally alert you to specific points of interest along the way. Then you can have points of interest that are accurate and truly of interest to you.
