A Sony Vaio WinDVD Won't Update the AACS Key
Play your Blu-ray discs with an updated AACS key. (a dvd-r disc image by wayne ruston from Fotolia.com)

The WinDVD software has an Advanced Access Content System (AACS) code in place to protect Blu-ray content from being distributed through the Internet. If you are using a computer with the Windows Vista operating system, such as a Sony Vaio, you might have trouble due to the User Account Control (UAC) on your computer inhibiting the AACS key from being updated. Turn off your UAC and you will be able to update your AACS.
