LG washers allow you to be able to select different levels of settings depending on your personal preferences. For example, you can choose from five different levels of spin speeds, ranging from "Extra High" to "No Spin." Similarly, you can choose from five different water temperature settings for the wash and rinse cycles. An error code on the appliance's front panel may make it impossible to choose the settings you want. To choose your preferred washer settings, you first must reset error codes.
Check to make sure the drain hose is not kinked and that it is free of clogs if the "OE" error message appears. Also check on the same things if the "1E" message appears. Also check another water tap in the house to make sure your home's water pressure is adequate when the "1E" message appears.
Close the washer door fully and press the "Start/Pause" button if the "dE" message appears. This message simply means that the door is not closed all the way.
Open the washer door and rearrange the items in the load if the "UE" code appears. This code means that the clothing in the washer is not evenly distributed. If there is only one or two items in the washer, add a couple more articles of clothing.
Close the water taps, unplug the washer and call for service if the "FE" or "PE" messages appear on the display.
Restart the cycle if the "LE" or "PF" error codes appear. If the "LE" code appears, wait 30 minutes to allow the motor to cool before you restart the appliance.
