How to Record Voicemail From Cisco Unity to a WAV File

The Cisco Unity Inbox utility, found in your Cisco Personal Communications Assistant account, allows you to manage your voice messages as you would e-mail messages in your e-mail account. You can reply to messages, forward them and send your own messages. And if you receive a message that you'd like to keep, you can use the Cisco Unity Inbox utility's Media Manager to save your voice messages to your computer in the WAV audio format.

    Log into your Cisco Personal Communications Assistant account. Click the "Cisco Unity Inbox" option to access your voice mails.

    Open the voice mail you wish to record. Click on the "Record" button in the Media Manager utility, embedded in the voice message.

    Click the Media Manager's "Options" heading after you've recorder your message. Click the "Save As" option in the pop-up menu that appears, to save your voice mail to your computer in WAV file format.
