The two-way radio, or walkie-talkie, is a device that can both receive and transmit sound data in order to facilitate a two-way communication. Two-way radios can be programmed to operate on different frequencies so that two different sets of radios do not interfere with each other's operation. The Kenwood pro-talk two-way radio has two channels composed of eight different frequency settings each. This allows for up to 16 lines of communication.
