How to Use a Danfoss Timer

Many of Danfoss's thermostats are equipped with timers. The timers assist in eliminating the need to manually adjust the thermostat. Once programmed, the timer activates the heat or air conditioner at the specified time. Because you have the option to program the timer to activate the heating and air conditioning system twice a day for the week and the weekend, it may seem intimidating. However, using the Danfoss timer is quick and simple.

Select the "+" or "-" key to change the time of the first time frame (morning).

Select "Prog." This will place the timer in temperature change mode for the first time-frame (morning).

Select the "+" or "-" keys to change the temperature. Stop selecting the keys once you reach the desired temperature.

Select the "Prog" key again to begin programming for the next time-frame (evening).

Select the "+" or "-" keys to change the time of the second time frame (evening).

Select the "Prog" key again to change the temperature.

Select the "+" or "-" keys to change the temperature. Stop selecting the keys once you reach the desired temperature.

Select the "Prog" button continuously until you see "6 7" at the bottom of the LCD screen. Afterward, select the "+" or "-" keys to select the first time-frame (morning).

Select the "Prog" key to change the temperature setting.

Select the "+" or "-" keys to change temperature. Stop selecting the keys once you reach the desired temperature.

Select the "Prog" key again to begin programming for the next time-frame (evening).

Select the"+" or "-" keys to change temperature. Stop selecting the keys once you reach the desired temperature.
