Dirt, hard water stains and rust can all accumulate at the bottom of your toilet bowl, leaving it looking filthy. To keep your bathroom neat and clean for your family and guests, you must get the stains out. There are many different methods for removing the stains, so you can have that spotless bathroom you want.
Fill a bucket with 1 1/2 gallons of water. Pour it quickly into the toilet bowl, so that your water line goes down.
Put on rubber gloves. Apply about 1/2 cup bleach carefully to the rim of the bowl and allow it to sit for five minutes.
Scrub carefully with a toilet brush.
Pour bleach directly on the bottom of your toilet bowl, to the parts that are still stained. Allow the bleach to sit for an additional five minutes.
Scrub stain with toilet brush. Flush to refill the water.
Fill another bucket with 1 1/2 gallons of water. Pour it quickly into the toilet bowl, so that your water line goes down again.
Rub a wet pumice stone over any stubborn stains that remain. Once all stains are removed, flush toilet.
