The pin on the door of a Chevy Blazer keeps both sides of the door's hinge together. One side of the hinge bolts to the door, while the other side bolts to the inner door jamb---the same concept used on the front door of your home. You could unbolt the door from the hinge and replace, but removing a door is time consuming and requires you to exert a great deal of effort to get the door back onto the Blazer properly. You can purchase a replacement pin from the dealer and install it without removing the whole door.

Things you need
Open the door as wide as you can. Have a second person hold the end not connected to the hinge, which will take pressure off the hinge and thus make it easier to drive the pin out.
Place a screwdriver against the bottom of the pin. Use a screwdriver with an outside diameter smaller than that of the pin so you will not have issues driving the screwdriver upward into the hinge.
Strike the screwdriver with a hammer, and drive the pin upward and out of the hinge.
Place the new pin into the top of the hinge, and press it in with your hand as far as possible. Hammer the pin the rest of the way using your hammer.
