TCP Error 10061: Can't Connect to Test Server

The TCP 10061 error that you get on you're MySQL server is caused by your computer not allowing the data to travel through your Internet socket to the test server. This error occurs when you have a firewall setting that impedes the data flow. You can remedy the error by adding your MySQL program to your Windows Firewall. The Windows Firewall is implemented to help keep viruses off your computer.

    Click the "Start" menu, then click the "Control Panel" option.

    Click the "Windows Firewall" option in the menu.

    Click "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall," then click "Add" in the menu.

    Select your "MySQL" program from the menu and click the "OK" button.

    Reopen MySQL to work without the error.
