How to search for an address using a phone number
Using a reverse phone number search, you can often find an address. (browsing the web image by Tracy Martinez from Fotolia.com)

The Internet provides many resources to perform a reverse phone number search. A reverse phone number search allows you to enter a phone number into a database, and receive information on the person the phone number is listed to. This information includes the person's name and address or a business name. Unfortunately, this search does not include information for mobile phones or most unlisted phone numbers.

Go to the White Pages website (see Resources).

Click the "Reverse Phone" tab located toward the top of the page.

Enter the phone number, including the area code, and click "Find."

Click one of the results (if more than one) and view the address.

Go to the 411 website and click the "Reverse Phone" tab located at the top of the page.

Enter the phone number, including area code and click "Search."

Click one of the results (if more than one) and view the address.

Go to the AnyWho website and click "Reverse Lookup."

Enter the phone number, including the area code, into the field and press "Find."

Click one of the results (if more than one) and view the address.
