Audi's Multimedia Interface (MMI) is the proprietary on-board stereo and navigation controls that Audi equips its cars with. The MMI system uses a knob and a set of buttons located behind the car's shifter to allow users to navigate through the MMI's user interface. Audi has designed the MMI interface to be quick to navigate and easy to use to eliminate drivers having to fumble with stereo controls.
