How to Disable the Video on an MSI MS-7184 Motherboard

Many computers come with video integrated on the motherboard, but if you use your computer for gaming, you may have purchased a dedicated graphics card. You may need to disable the video on your MSI-7184 motherboard, however, before the system will recognise and use the dedicated graphics card in the PCI or PCI-Express slot.

    Press the Windows-logo button in the lower-left-hand corner of the screen. Open the "Control Panel." Double-click on "System."

    Open "Device Manager" and click the "+" sign located next to "Display Adapters."

    Locate your on-board graphics card in the list and double-click it to bring up the configuration options.

    Check the box to "Disable in hardware profile."

    Restart the computer to institute and save the changes.
