The Laserjet P2055DN produces black and white printouts of digital documents using powdered toner or ink. The printer attracts the toner powder to specific spots on the paper. The printer applies heat and pressure to each page once the toner has been applied so it fuses with the paper and will not smudge or run. You install the printer drivers on the computer, enabling you to change the printer's settings from the computer.
