How to Install Netflix

Updated July 20, 2017

Netflix can be connected to an Xbox, a PS3, a Wii, an Internet-connected Blu-ray player or an Internet-connected HDTV. Once Netflix is installed, you can log in to your account and watch your desired movies or television shows instantly.

The device you are installing Netflix on needs to be connected to the Internet in order for it to be "Netflix ready." Now that Netflix has discontinued its installation discs, each device must be installed differently.

The Netflix program can be found in the marketplace or shop for each device. Netflix can be found in the Xbox Video Marketplace (a Live GOLD membership is necessary), the PS3 "What's New" section, and the Wii's Wii Shop. You must select the Netflix option on your device and follow the instructions given.

The instructions will prompt you to install the Netflix program. Allow the program to sit for a few minutes and install fully.

Once the program is installed, use your user name and password to log in to your account.

Once you log in, an activation code will appear on the screen. You will need to type your activation code into your account onto a computer before Netflix can be used on your device.
