Copiers have meters similar to your car's odometer, providing an accurate tally of the copies made on that unit. Getting a meter reading on a Sharp copier lets businesses know how much to bill clients for copies or paper counts. At times, the meter may need to be reset, such as when a business has meter readings assigned to an individual account, and that account no longer exists. Knowing how to reset a Sharp copier meter will help keep track of inventory as well as accounting and billing.
