Open the bonnet and locate the electrical wiring harness at the rear of the headlamp assembly. Loosen the two screws on the electrical wiring harness by turning them counterclockwise with a screwdriver.

  3. 3

Pull the electrical wiring harness from the headlamp assembly to remove it. Turn the retaining ring counterclockwise and pull it off the headlamp assembly.

  4. 4

Press the side tabs of the socket to remove the headlamp bulb. Repeat these steps on the headlamp on the opposite side. Reverse these steps to install a new headlamp bulb.

Tips and warnings

  • Always wear latex gloves when handling a headlamp bulb. The oil from your skin can cause the bulb's glass to shatter.
