When you try to print PDF files in Visual Basic (VB) NET, the printing itself does not make it difficult. The problem lies in reading the PDF in the first place. VB NET does not come with PDF compatibility. However, the company offers an add-on to enable PDF reading. Once you have installed it, you can open any PDF. From there, you can print right from the main VB window.

Navigate your browser to the Visual Basic website (see link in References section).
Click "VB PDF tutorial source code" link to download the VB PDF source code from the website.
Open the ZIP file that downloads.
Drag and drop the files in the window that pops up onto any folder on your hard drive; keep them all in the same folder.
Open VB NET.
Click "Add File" from the "Project" menu.
Open the files you saved in Step 4.
Click "mjwPDF.cls." Click "Open."
Select "Open" from the "File" menu.
Select the PDF you wish to print, and click "Open."
Select "Print" from the "File" menu.
