The Volvo C30 is among the many cars from the manufacturer that is equipped with smart key capabilities. While you can sync these keys from your driver's seat in your C30, you can also disable the keys. This can be done to remove the signal from your engine if your key is lost, or if the keys stop working. This process takes only minutes and can be completed from your driver's seat.
