If you like taking pictures and own an iPhone, you have probably built up quite a collection in the iPhone photo library. In fact, you may have too many pictures and want to get rid of your entire photo library. As long as you have the Apple provided USB cable, you can connect your iPhone to your computer and delete the photo library by using the syncing method in iTunes.

Connect the larger end of the USB cable into the bottom of the iPhone, and connect the smaller USB connector into an empty USB slot on your computer.
Open the iTunes program. Select your iPhone under "Devices" on the left side of the screen. The phone is named "iPhone" by default.
Select "Sync photos from." Choose your photo application that you sync your iPhone photos with, such as iPhoto, Aperture, Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements. Click "Selected Albums" and deselect every selected album. Click "Apply." The iPhone photo library is now empty.
