How to Go From RF Cable to HDMI

RF and HDMI cables transmit both audio and video signals over a single cable. While they function similarly, an adaptor or converter is required to go from an RF cable to HDMI input or vice versa. Use the converter to connect two devices that only have an RF jack or HDMI input.

  • Analogue-to-HDMI converter

    Insert the power supply cable into the converter box and plug it into a wall outlet.

    Connect one end of the RF cable from your wall outlet into the jack on the converter box.

  3. 3

    Insert the HDMI cable connected to your TV into the "HDMI" port on the converter.
