Line 6 manufactures various live music related accessories such as amplifiers and effects pedals. The Pod X3 is a multi-effects processor that can be used in live performances. It has various amp presets and effects that you can use to enhance your sound. All of the inputs and outputs are located at the back of the pod for easy access.

Things you need

  • 2 jack-to-jack cables
  • XLR cable
  • Headphone, 1/4-inch Jack
  • SPIDF cable

  1. 1

    Connect a jack-to-jack cable from your instrument to the 1/4-inch input on the pod.

    Connect the other jack-to-jack cable from the left stereo output to the input on your amplifier.

  3. 3

    Locate the "A.I.R" switch on the device and change it to "AMP."

  4. 4

    Turn on your amplifier, plug in the pod and turn the pod on.

  5. 5

    Adjust the channel volume, as well as the bass, mid and treble levels.

  6. 6

    Use the up/down channel buttons to browse through the preprogrammed settings. Alternatively, press the "Manual" button and turn the various knobs on the interface to adjust your sound.
