Lexus automobiles have vertical and lateral adjustment knobs for their low- and high-beam headlights. On the headlight assembly they have an adjustment gauge that shows the acceptable range of aim for the beams. This makes it very simple to adjust the aim of the Lexus headlights, since you do not have to create your own target or set up the proper conditions for adjusting the headlights as you must do with most other cars of the turn of the millennium's first decade. It shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to adjust your Lexus' headlights.

- Crescent wrench
Turn on your headlights and prop open the hood of your Lexus.
Look for the adjustment bolts on the low beam headlight, which rests higher in the headlight assembly than the high beam. The top adjustment bolt controls the lateral direction of the beam and the lower bolt controls the vertical direction of the beam.
Twist the vertical alignment bolts with your socket wrench until the bubble on the alignment gauge, located between the two bolts, is within the acceptable range, which is within the two tick marks. Twist the horizontal alignment bolt until the lens reaches "O" on the graduated gauge below the lens.
Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 for the high beam headlight as well as the other headlight assembly.
