Event flyers let you communicate the details of your upcoming event in a document that can be distributed manually or electronically. These flyer templates can be downloaded from different free sources online or offline. Use Microsoft Office to download event flyer templates from Microsoft Word. Use OpenOffice and Google Documents online websites to download free event flyer templates for your upcoming event. Once the template is downloaded, you can customise the details and then print or e-mail the flyer.

    Word 2010

    Open Word 2010 and select the "File" tab. Click the "New" icon. Select the "Flyers" icon in the template categories. Select "Event Flyer." Review the event flyers that appear.

    Preview the template by clicking the template image and reviewing the details in the right task pane. Click "Download" to download the template to your computer.

    Edit the template by deleting the default information and adding your event details. Save your changes by clicking the "Save" icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.

    Google Documents

    Access Google Documents website. Type "flyer" in the search box. Review the available flyers.
