How to Program a Vectra Key Fob

Owned by General Motors, Vauxhall Motors is a British automaker that has been manufacturing vehicles in the United Kingdom since 1903. The Vectra is a popular full-size family vehicle that has been produced by Vauxhall since 1995. In addition to the Vectra's many other exciting features, Vauxhall also offers a keyless entry system that allows you to operate the vehicle's power locks from up to 15 feet away. Perform this quick process to synchronise the keyless entry fob to your Vectra.

Insert the key into the lock on the driver's side door of your Vauxhall Vectra vehicle.

Turn the key to the right as far as it will go. Turn the key back to the upright, vertical position and remove it from the lock.

Open the door and press the "Unlock" button on the control panel of the driver's side door.

Insert the key into the vehicle's ignition cylinder; the fob has now been synchronised to your Vectra.

Tip

Repeat the process to program a second key fob for your Vauxhall Vectra.

Warning

Vectra fob programming instructions may vary slightly by vehicle model year. Consult an authorised Vectra dealership or service centre for model-specific fob programming advice.
