Sony XDRC705DAB Instructions

The Sony XDR-C705DAB, or "Dream Machine," is a digital audio broadcasting clock radio that can sit on a night stand or dresser and uses a wire antenna. You need to set the clock and alarm and may also want to know how to scan for FM radio stations.

Press the "Menu" button and then use the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons. Select the option for "Set Clock." Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the hour. Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the minute. Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the year. Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the month. Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the day of the week. Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Menu" button and then use the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons. Select the option for "Alarm Settings." Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the alarm option (1-4). Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the "Set Alarm." Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons and select "On." Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to select the hour. Press the "Enter" button. Repeat this step to set the minute and alarm mode.

Press the "Enter" button to complete the process.

Press the "On/Off" button for the Radio/Alarm Reset to turn on the radio function.

Press the "DAB/FM" button to select the FM radio band.

Press the "Up" and "Down" Tune/Select buttons to set the direction for the scan.

Press the "Enter/FM Scan" button to enter the scan mode. Press the "Up" or "Down" buttons to scroll through the available FM radio stations.

Warning

You have seven seconds to begin setting the clock or the Set Clock mode will turn off.
