The BT Freestyle 2200 is a type of cordless landline telephone. It allows you to make telephone calls over your existing home phone line, but the headsets themselves are wireless which means you can walk anywhere around your home and still engage in conversation. The volume on your BT Freestyle 2200 can be adjusted in one of two ways, depending on where you're actually standing in relation to the unit's charging cradle.

Instructions

  1. 1

Locate the volume buttons on your first BT Freestyle 2200 handset. These are the handsets that you hold to your ear when you talk on the phone. The handset contains two buttons, an "Up" volume arrow and a "Down" volume arrow. Press the "Up" arrow to increase to volume and the "Down" volume arrow to decrease it. These volume buttons only control the volume on the handset you are holding.

  2. 2

Locate the volume buttons on your second BT Freestyle 2200 handset. The handset (as with the first) contains two buttons, an "Up" volume arrow and a "Down" volume arrow. Press the "Up" arrow to increase to volume and the "Down" volume arrow to decrease it. These volume buttons only control the volume on the handset you are holding.

  3. 3

Find the volume buttons on your BT Freestyle charging cradle. This is the box that is physically connected to your phone line via a phone cable, and is used to charge your headsets. This cradle will have two volume buttons, similar to the ones on the headset. These buttons will control the overall volume of both headsets at the same time.
