The Norstar M7310 phone is a model of business phone that can be used for many purposes in your office or in your home. Pick up the handset on your Norstar M7310 phone. You will hear a dial tone. Press the "Feature" button followed by the "Star" and the "1" button on the keypad to enter programming mode for external numbers.
On the top of the base of the Norstar M7310 phone you will see several blank buttons that you can program numbers into. Push the button that you want to program a number into once. Do not hold it down. The display on the base will show "Program," indicating that you have begun to program the button you just pressed.
Enter in the number that you want to program to this button by using the keypad in the centre of the phone. Push each number without holding it down with a short pause between each one. Be sure to include the area code and country code if the number is long distance. Press the "OK" button to save your number once it is entered.
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for each external number you wish to program into the phone's memory.
Push the "Feature" button followed by "Star" and then "2" on the number pad to begin programming internal numbers into your Norstar M7310 phone.
Press the programmable button you want to save an internal number to once. The display will show "Intercom." Enter the extension number exactly as you would dial to reach it. Press the "OK" button to save the number.
Repeat Steps 5 through 6 to program all of the internal numbers you wish to save.
