With a 27-piece weave, you can achieve a variety of hair styles without actually damaging your natural hair. A 27-piece weave, which is basically hair extensions, can be bought at hair stores. It comes prepackaged in certain lengths and colours, therefore you have the ability to choose just about any style. To achieve a quick weave, use a bonding glue method, which requires you to glue the weave to a stocking cap.

Instructions

  1. 1

Remove all hair pieces from packaging. There will be several different lengths of hair that are already cut. Arrange the hair in order from the shortest to longest pieces.

  2. 2

Apply the holding gel to your natural hair. Comb your natural hair in a wrapping motion around your head so that your hair lays flat on your head.

  3. 3

Place the shower cap on your head securely. Once you have on the shower cap, put the stocking cap on top of the shower cap.

  4. 4

Take the shortest weave pieces and measure them to the nape of your neck. To measure the weave against your nape (where your hairline meets your neck), you simply take the weave and place it against your nape. Cut the weave so that it measures the same length as your nape.

  5. 5

Apply glue on the thread of the weave piece. Press the weave piece firmly against your nape where you previously measured it to fit. Continue gluing the weave pieces in rows across the back of your head.

  6. 6

Begin measuring and gluing in a U-shaped motion once the back of your head is complete. The left front side, closest to where your hairline begins, will be your starting point. Measure weave from the left front side around your head to the same point on the right side. Continue until the sides are complete.

  7. 7

Finish the back and sides of the head first. Use a long weave piece and glue it to the front hairline of the stocking cap to achieve the fringe. If you feel that the weave for your fringe are not thick enough, you can glue more hair directly above the previous piece. Once you get the thickness that you like, cut the fringe however you desire.

  8. 8

Measure and glue a piece of short hair to the crown. Glue the hair so that it falls towards the front of your head. Keep gluing weave to the top of the crown until the stocking cap is completely covered with weave.

  9. 9

Remove shower cap and only place the stocking cap on head. Comb your weave smooth and style.
