The Mio DigiWalker C230 is a global positioning system (GPS) navigation device that allows users to pinpoint their location on the globe and gives by turn-by-turn directions from that location to any destination on the continent. The device also comes loaded with a points-of-interest database that displays ATMs, shops, gas stations, lodging and restaurants in the user's vicinity on the digital map. If you have purchased the latest maps for your DigiWalker C230, you'll need to transfer them from DVD to your personal computer, then to the device, before they can be used. Updating the maps is accomplished by connecting the GPS device to your computer via a USB adaptor cord, then inserting the map update DVD and following a brief installation process.
