The use of Google's search engine has become so popular with Internet users that it has secured itself as an action word as well as a search engine. This popularity has many Web surfers turning to Google as their first choice for searches. Configuring the Google search as your home page allows you to be one click closer to your search results. Making Google your homepage is a relatively simple task with the same steps whether you run a PC or a Mac. The browser you use dictates the exact process you should follow, but none of the popular browsers on the market today present any particular problems.
