Activision released "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" for the PC, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 in 2007 to critical acclaim. Many players still go online to play this game against peers in a variety of multiplayer scenarios. The PC version uses a keyboard and mouse configuration for gameplay while Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners use their controllers to move their characters in the game.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Jump using the "A" button on the Xbox 360 and the "X" button on the PlayStation 3. Press "B" one time to crouch and two times to lay prone on the Xbox 360. Press the "Circle" button on the PS3 controller to do the same.

    Use the left joystick to move and click to sprint in both versions of the game. Move the right stick around to look or aim and press it down to perform a melee attack in both versions.

    Reload your gun or use an object by pressing "X" on the Xbox 360 and "Square" on the PS3. Switch between weapons with the "Y" button on the Xbox 360 and the "Triangle" button on the PS3.

    Fire on the Xbox 360 by using the right trigger. Press the "R1" button on the PS3 to shoot a gun. Aim down the sights of the gun with the left trigger on the Xbox 360 and the "L1" button on the PS3.

    Toss a frag grenade by pressing the right bumper of the Xbox 360. Use the "R2" button on the PS3. To throw a special grenade you must press the left bumper on the Xbox 360 and the "L2" button on the PS3.

    Show a mission's objectives by pressing the "Start" button on the PlayStation 3 and the "Back" button on the Xbox 360.
