The Today screen is where you will access applications such as messaging, contacts and e-mail. You can customise the background on your Today screen as well as the applications that are shown on the screen by changing your settings.     Customise Background

    Tap the "Start" icon located at the top of the phone. Tap "Settings" and wait for the menu to appear.

    Tap "Basic" followed by "Display and Light." Tap "Theme" or "Wallpaper." Depending upon the model of your Window Mobile 6.5 phone, you can tap "Menu" followed by "Wallpaper" to enter this menu.

    Select a theme or wallpaper from the list available or tap "Albums" to select a picture from your photo gallery to use as a background.

    Tap "Yes" to confirm that you want to use that specific template or picture as your background. Tap "Done" to complete the process.
