The Sony AM Loop antenna provides better reception for AM radio than if no antenna is being used at all. The procedure for attaching the antenna is straightforward and does not require reading the instruction manual that comes with it. The only requirement is that the AM radio or the audio amplifier that can play AM radio has antenna connectors on its back. No power source for the Sony AM Loop antenna is needed, either.
