Instructions

  1. 1

Brush the canvas tennis shoes with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Allow the shoes to air dry.

  2. 2

Use a pencil to lightly mark out the patterns you want to make on the tennis shoes. Design flower, heart, sun, bird, rainbow or any other patterns you want to create on the shoe with the flat-backed Swarovski crystals.

  3. 3

Place the Swarovski crystals gem-side-up on a plate. Cover the work surface with a sheet of protective newspaper.

  4. 4

Insert a glue stick into a hot glue gun and turn the machine on. When the glue gun is hot, squeeze the trigger and apply a dot of glue over the pencilled-in design.

  5. 5

Grasp a crystal with a pair of tweezers. Press the crystal's flat back onto the dot of glue. Continue this process until the entire design is filled in with crystals.

  6. 6

Allow the glue to set for 24 hours before wearing the embellished tennis shoes.
