If you have a netbook, you will not be able to install software, such as Reason 4, using CDs. If you have downloaded the software and have a disk image, you can use Daemon Tools to mount the image. When you mount a disk image, it is mounted to a virtual drive that acts just like a normal optical drive. Using Daemon Tools, you will be able to install Reason 4.

Navigate to the Reason 4 disk image on your computer.
Right-click the image. Click "Mount Image" and then "Add new IDE virtual drive and mount."
Click "Start" if the installer doesn't run automatically; click "Computer." Double-click the Reason 4 disk virtual drive. Set-up will now begin.
Complete the onscreen instructions to finish installation. After you are finished, you will have successfully installed Reason 4 on your netbook.
