A watch band deployant, also referred to as a butterfly or sliding clasp, secures a watch on your wrist. A deployant clasp is typically fancier than a standard buckle clasp. It's available on most metal watch bands. To put the watch on or remove it, you must open the deployant.

Instructions

  1. 1

Unlock the clasp by lifting up on the watch band deployant clasp.

  2. 2

Pull out the watch band on both sides of the clasp so the clasp unfolds and expands. The watch now may be removed or placed on the wrist.

  3. 3

Lock the wrist band deployment by folding the top half of the clasp over the bottom half of the clasp. Snap the two pieces together so they lock.
