Scrunchies are basically rubber bands covered with fabric material. The elastic hair accessory first made its appearance in women's hair in the 1980s. This popular hair accessory is convenient and can be used in most hair styles. Scrunchies can be used to secure the ends of braids, to create ponytails and even to secure buns.
