Additionally, the nüvi 250W features an SD memory card slot, allowing you to increase the device's memory capacity. Installing an SD card into your nüvi 250W is simple, and accessing the added memory can be done immediately.

    Connect your Garmin nüvi 250W to your computer using the USB cable that was included with the device.

    Slip the SD card into the opening on the side of your Garmin nüvi 250W. Refer to the face of the SD card for directions on which way to insert the card --- there's usually an arrow indicating the proper direction.

    Access the added memory space provided by your SD card by opening the "Start" menu on your computer and clicking on "My Computer." The memory space added to your Garmin 250W is indicated by the "H:" drive.
