The Polaroid RC-201 remote is a popular universal remote manufactured by RCA. This remote, like other devices, allows you to sync to a variety of components in your entertainment centre. You can program the remote in just seconds from your couch and have it coded to your TV, DVD player, VCR or stereo, and you will be able to switch from one device to the next with just the click of a button.

Instructions

    Turn on the device that you would like to program, such as your TV or DVD player. Press and hold the "Code Search" button on your remote.

    Press and release the "TV" button on your remote while still holding the "Code Search" button.

  3. 3

    Wait for the "TV" button to flash once. Release the "Code Search" button.

  4. 4

    Press the "On/Off" button on your remote until the TV responds by turning off. This may take up to 100 presses of the button. This completes the programming process.
