A sandwich toaster is a kitchen appliance designed to quickly toast your sandwich on both sides without using the traditional butter and skillet method to toast a sandwich. The machine's non-stick coating guarantees that the sandwich won't stick to the cooking surface even without the use of cooking spray, butter or margarine. As with any other cooking appliance, you must clean the sandwich maker after each use.

Instructions

  1. 1

Fill your sink with 2 qt. hot water and 1 tsp dish soap.

  2. 2

Run your dishcloth under hot water, squeeze out the cloth and wipe it over the exterior frame of the sandwich toaster.

  3. 3

Dip the cloth in the soapy water, squeeze out and wipe down the grill plates of the sandwich toaster. Repeat until you have removed all sandwich residue.

  4. 4

Rinse the cloth with hot water again, squeeze out and wipe over the grill plates to remove any leftover dish soap.

  5. 5

Dry the sandwich toaster with a dishtowel.

Tips and warnings

  • Never use abrasive cleaners or rough scrubbing pads on the grill plates, as this breaks off the non-stick coating.
