How to Print in Black and White on the Epson R200

The Epson Stylus Photo R200 printer is a full-featured ink jet printer that allows you to print documents, CDs, DVDs and photographs. The Epson R200 has the capability to print in six colours border-to-border. If you want to conserve colour ink, you can print only in black and white. The software provided with your printer will allow you to perform this task.

    Open the document you wish to print.

    Click "File" and "Print." A print dialogue box will open.

    Select the Epson R200 printer and click "Advanced" button on the "Main" tab. If you see a warning message, click "Continue."

    Click "Black Ink Only" in the Print Options area and click "OK."

    Print your document.

    Macintosh OS X

    Open the document you wish to print.

    Click "Page Setup" in the File menu and select the printer.

    Select "Print Settings" from the pull-down menu. Select "Black ink" in the "Color" pull-down box.
