Remove the rings from your gas cooker. They should lift off easily.

  2. 2

Place the rings in a sink filled with hot soapy water.

  3. 3

Scrub the gas cooker rings with a nonabrasive pad. This will remove most of the grease and grime.

  4. 4

Lift the rings out of the water, and sprinkle them with baking soda. The baking soda will form a paste. Use the paste to continue scrubbing the gas cooker rings until all the dirt and grime is removed.

  5. 5

Rinse the rings thoroughly with warm water, and dry them with a dish towel.

  6. 6

Place the rings back on your gas range once they are completely dry.
