Since its release in 2008, "Combat Arms" has become one of the most popular free-to-play games on the Internet. The in-depth gameplay has attracted thousands of players worldwide and has attained positive reviews from critics. To combat cheating, Combat Arms is protected by HackShield Pro. HackShield Pro monitors running software and terminates any potential hacking programs. Unfortunately HackShield Pro misidentifies gamepads as hacking software, due to a code used by the gamepads to allow users the ability to use them in-game. However, with the use of emulation software you can use gamepads with "Combat Arms."
